MAC Richmond is a studio; 21 sqm, well-designed, and put to full use. Large windows bring in natural light; blockout blinds take care of the rest. Split-system heating and cooling keeps things comfortable year-round.
The king bed sleeps one or two guests comfortably, and can be made into two singles on request. The kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and the basics to get you started.
The bathroom features a walk-in shower with Melbourne-made Salus amenities.
Two room types offer a little more: the King Studio is an easy and comfortable home base. The King Studio Courtyard adds a private outdoor space, good for a morning coffee or an evening drink without going anywhere.

Your apartment will be available from 2pm on your day of arrival.
There's no front desk - check-in is self-managed via a secure digital lock, which keeps things simple and gives you flexibility on arrival. To receive your lock code, we'll need a copy of your government-issued photo ID and payment confirmed by 4pm on your arrival day.
Your code will be sent on arrival day once both are received.
To avoid any delays, please make sure the name on your booking, your credit card, and your photo ID all match.

Payment
Full payment is charged to the card on your reservation 3 days before arrival (or immediately for prepaid/non-refundable bookings). A credit card authorisation of $200 is taken upon registration (released on departure subject to room inspection). Credit card payments attract a 1.75% surcharge.
Minimum stay
Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods, major Melbourne events, and selected stay/save deals. Richmond is close to the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, and AAMI Park. Minimum stay restrictions are most likely to apply during AFL finals, major concerts, the Australian Open, and Boxing Day Test periods.

No Smoking
Smoking and vaping are strictly not permitted inside the apartment or on any common property (foyers, stairwells). Penalties apply, including fee taken from your authorisation.
No pets
We love animals, but pets aren't permitted. Assistance animals and guide dogs are always welcome. Please contact us before arrival with relevant documentation.

on your arrival day.
On event days at the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, or AAMI Park, street parking in Richmond fills quickly. If you're driving, booking onsite parking in advance is strongly recommended.
Richmond is one of Melbourne's great neighbourhoods and depending on why you're here, it offers a completely different version of itself.
Come for a game at the MCG, cricket at the 'G, or a concert at Rod Laver Arena or AAMI Park, and you'll find Rowena Parade puts you closer than almost anywhere else you could stay. Walk to the ground. Avoid the tram scramble. Get back to the apartment before the crowd disperses.
Come for the food and the suburb makes a different kind of sense. Swan Street is one of Melbourne's best-kept not-so-secrets: good wine bars, serious coffee, Vietnamese done properly on Victoria Street, and a stretch of restaurants that Melbourne locals actually go to. Bridge Road adds boutique shopping and more eating. The MCG is just the backdrop.
Richmond Station is a five-minute walk and connects you directly to the CBD, South Yarra, and Flinders Street. Multiple tram routes run through the suburb. But honestly, plenty of guests barely use them.
