Each apartment at MAC South Yarra is a self-contained 1-bedroom space, around 40 sqm, light and well-considered, with everything a couple or solo traveller needs whether
you're staying two nights or two months.
The bedroom has a king bed (we can split into two singles on request), an ensuite with walk-in shower, blockout blinds for a proper sleep-in, and a wardrobe. The living area opens onto a full sized kitchen, with some apartments boasting a private outdoor courtyard ideal for a morning coffee or an evening glass of something local. Courtyard apartments available, select your preferred room type when booking. The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, stove, fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine, and all the basics.

Your apartment will be available from 2pm on your day of arrival.
There's no front desk - check-in is self-managed via a secure digital lock, which keeps things simple and gives you flexibility on arrival. To receive your lock code, we'll need a copy of your government-issued photo ID and payment confirmed by 4pm on your arrival day.
Your code will be sent on arrival day once both are received.
To avoid any delays, please make sure the name on your booking, your credit card, and your photo ID all match.

Payment
Full payment is charged to the card on your reservation 3 days before arrival (or immediately for prepaid/non-refundable bookings). A credit card authorisation of $200 is taken upon registration (released on departure subject to room inspection). Credit card payments attract a 1.75% surcharge.
Minimum Stay
Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods and major Melbourne events.
Weekly service
Bookings of 7 nights or more include a weekly apartment service.
Max. Guests
King and twin apartments can sleep a maximum of 2 guests. Plus apartments can sleep a maximum of 3 guests.
No Smoking
Smoking and vaping are strictly not permitted inside the apartment or on any common property (foyers, stairwells). Penalties apply, including fee taken from your authorisation.
No pets
We love animals, but pets aren't permitted. Assistance animals and guide dogs are always welcome. Please contact us before arrival with relevant documentation.
Free open-air parking for one car is available onsite. Parking is not assigned - first come, first served. No extra charge.
South Yarra is one of Melbourne's most liveable inner suburbs. and from Arthur Street, you're right in the middle of it.
Step out the door onto Chapel Street, one of Melbourne's great shopping and dining strips, with everything from independent boutiques to long-lunch restaurants within a five-minute walk. Toorak Road's wine bars and trattorias are equally close. When you need space and quiet, the Royal Botanic Gardens are an easy stroll, and Fawkner Park is perfect for a morning run.
South Yarra Station is six minutes on foot, putting the CBD, Richmond, and St Kilda all within easy reach. But honestly, some guests barely leave the neighbourhood.
